For anyone teaching children, Arc requires an enhanced background check on file, and displays it as a plain, dated fact from the issuing body. Never a 'safe' or 'trusted' badge Arc can't stand behind. If a check lapses, new bookings stop.

Questions, answered
Do I need a background check?
If you teach children, yes — an enhanced check must be on file before your listing goes live, and Arc shows it honestly. For adult-only teaching (e.g. adult driving lessons), the requirement follows the trade.
How do I get paid?
The learner pays when they book. Arc holds it and releases it to your wallet after the lesson is confirmed complete — withdraw to your bank anytime.
Is there a business app?
Arc for Business — one web console to run everything you do on Arc — is coming soon. No date yet; it'll be named on the homepage roadmap.
